Based on confirmed moon sighting reports for the month of Shawwal, Stamford Islamic Center has announced that Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Sunday June 25th 2017, inn-sha-Allah.
The Eid ul Fitr Congregation will be at 9:00 am and prayers will start at 9:30 am SHARP at Hilton Stamford Hotel. (See detail address below) .
Dr Haqqani Mian Qadri, Imam Stamford Islamic Center will inn-sha-Allah lead the EID prayers. Indoor Parking is available at the hotel free of charge please allow extra 15 minutes for parking and also please bring your prayer rugs. Refreshments will be served.
Please note that Zakat ul Fitr this year is $12 per person. It is obligatory on the head of household to pay this before Eid prayers. The idea is to get this to the intended party (poor and needy) before the Eid day.
