Assalam-o-Alaikum,
It is with a sad heart, we bring this news that Brother Abdul Aziz who was injured in an accident on Monday (5/9/2016), passed away on Tuesday (5/10/2016) in Stamford Hospital. His Janazah prayer will be performed at Stamford Islamic Center tomorrow (Thursday, May 12th, 2016) at 1:00pm after Zuhr prayer.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
“Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return” َ
Brother Abdul Aziz (72) was an active member of Stamford Islamic Center and hard working person who was hit by car while returning from work. May Allah (SWT) grant him highest place in Janna tul Firdous and give patience to family and friends.
Please join the community and try to attend as recommended by the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in many of his hadiths. Remember we all have to go on this journey sooner or later attendance in such a service reminds us of our transit status in this world.
