Mission Statement

Founded in 1998 the Stamford Islamic Center fulfills the spiritual and educational needs of those who live or work in the lower Fairfield County area and its vicinity. Prayers are called five (5) times a day.

Construction of the new center is underway. Upon completion it will be the first mosque in lower Fairfield County built from the ground up. The new center will contain the two primary elements that traditionally compose an Islamic house of worship: a mosque and a minaret. We anticipate that the new center will change the landscape of Stamford and serve as a unique platform from which goodwill and the message of peace will resonate.

Whenever time comes for prayer, pray, for that is a mosque (for you)
